Combined Driving

All combined driving classes are considered strenuous.

Dressage

Driving

Driving encompasses all non-Combined Driving events. Driving classes are based on height or type of the horse or pony or are general classes. There is no progression and they may enter multiple classes.

Division Restrictions
Very Small Equine (VSE) Under 9.3h
Small Pony Not exceeding 12.2h
Large Pony Over 12.2h
Horse Over 14.2h
Pony Draft Under 14.2 hands, Draft Breeds and Crosses
Small Draft 14.2-16.2 hands, Draft Breeds and Crosses
Drafts Over 16.2h, Draft Breeds and crosses

The divisions above may also be used in Combined Driving.

Eventing

All eventing levels are considered strenuous

Working Western, Western Pleasure, Western Dressage, and Western Speed

All Western events except western dressage uses these divisions. Western dressage goes by levels (see official classlist). There is no progression system for western events.
